The 2019 Statewide Folk Dance Festival, ETHNIC TREASURES, will be held at the Edmunds Ballroom on the Pomona College Campus, 170 E. 6th St., Claremont, CA 91711, on May 31st to June 2nd. Instruction and parties will take place in the beautiful Ballroom, which is located in the Smith Campus Center of Pomona College in Claremont.

The DoubleTree Hilton has made available rooms for $139.00 per night. A limited number of rooms are available at this rate; rooms must be booked by April 30. Festival guests may select rooms with one king bed or two double beds. Grounds include a lovely pool in a garden setting and free parking. The DoubleTree is about a mile from Edmunds Ballroom, and the complimentary hotel van will be available to shuttle out-of-town guests on a limited basis. The festival rate is available from Thursday May 30 through Monday June 3rd for visitors who want to extend their vacations to enjoy local attractions

Conveniently, ONTARIO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT is only 11 miles from the DoubleTree in Claremont. Whether arrival is by airplane, bicycle, stage coach, or Chevy Volt, the Folkdance Federation of California, South, welcomes National Folk Organization members to Statewide 2019!
There will be cameo teaching appearances by
Petur Iliev, and
Israel Yakovee, plus Sunday Salsa Rueda with
Music this year will be provided by Maimon Miller and Friends!
The Past President's reception will be held in the courtyard of the DoubleTree from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
NOTE: Minors under the age of 18 whose parents are not attending ETHNIC TREASURES festival must carry a signed medical authorization, as per Pomona College policy. We love youth! No entrance fee for young folks. Bring your children or grandchildren! Just download the MINOR MEDICAL AUTHORIZATION FORM below and have it signed in advance.
