Glenn Laigast and Lori Bertaut are both South Louisiana natives. They have been successfully teaching Zydeco, Cajun Jitterbug, Cajun Two-Step, and the Whiskey River Jitterbug in the New Orleans area twice a week for many years.

Glenn has been doing Cajun dancing since he was a teenager, taught to him by his mother who was born and raised in a small Cajun town in Southwest Louisiana. He was introduced to Zydeco and has been doing the Whiskey River Jitterbug, a new dance that is just now coming out of the Acadien area of Southwest Louisiana.

Lori Bertraut, who's background is Ballroom dance, was raised in a dancing family. Her dad taught dancing for Arthur Murray Studios for many years. Glennn and Lori, along with many of their students, can be seen dancing at Cajun and Zydeco festivals and clubs not only in Louisiana but throughout the country.

Glenn and Lori have taught dance at the Gator By The Bay Festival in San Diego, California, Medina Lake Festival in the San Antonio, Texas area, Gulf Coast Zydeco Festival in Daphne, Alabama, the Florida Cajun-Zydeco Festival in Fort Laurderdale, Florida, the Jazz and Heritage Cajun-Zydeco Festival in New Orleans, Louisiana, the 31st New Mexico Global Dance Camp in Socorro, New Mexico, and many local dance festivals in South Louisiana.

Glenn passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at the age of 70 years.
